I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Surabaya. The location was perfect for my early morning train travel as it is right next to the train station. The hotel facilities were great, and the room I stayed in was spacious with a comfortable king-size bed. The cleanliness of the room and bathroom was impeccable. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service, including packing a delicious breakfast box for me when I had to leave at 4am. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to a shopping mall was convenient for any last-minute shopping needs.

Stayed for a city break recently and the hotel was conveniently located near key attractions. The rooms were modern and well-furnished, with fantastic views from the upper floors. The hotel also offered a range of amenities including air conditioning to combat the hot weather.
The hotel had some minor maintenance issues, particularly with the shower, and the street noise outside could be disruptive at times. the internet service was expensive and the information was not clearly displayed, which left a sour taste in our mouth at check-out.

The hotel staff and manager were very helpful; as well as the police officers around. We arrived late due to flight delay and they went out of their ways to help us. Thank you very much! The location is excellent, just outside the train station. Exactly what we needed
The hotel is a bit old, but the sheets were clean. So it was ok.

This hotel offers great value for money, as mentioned in previous reviews. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the hotel’s central location next to the train station. The staff pays attention to detail, ensuring that rooms are clean and comfortable. The basic amenities provided in the traditional Javanese styled rooms, such as the shower, are a nice touch. Additionally, the breakfast served at the hotel is satisfying.
All was well — nothing to complain about.

We stayed here overnight during a wonderful train journey across Java. The hotel is perfectly located, an easy 5 minute walk from Gubeng railway station.
The rooms need a lick of paint and the restaurant furniture could do with re-upholstering.

I had an unexpectedly pleasant stay at this hotel. the value for money was excellent - I felt like I got more than what I paid for. Secondly, the location was super convenient being right beside the train station. It made it so easy for me to explore the city. The staff was friendly and attentive, which made me feel welcome. The room, especially the shower in traditional Javanese style, was a nice touch and added to the overall experience. Lastly, breakfast was delicious and had a good variety of options to choose from.

The location is strategyc, if you travelling with young kids they would love to see a train from the above of the room hotel if you get the room that have a train gubeng station view. The chicken pouridge is delicious and the sinom is great.
It's like 30-35years old hotel... It's really need a renovations immediately. The bath tub is terrible, there is blood stain in the bed cover, the bathroom door is broken, and the ac is little warm at noon and super cool at night. At breakfast there is no sign of food at the buffet, and the quantity of the food is poor.

We needed a hotel close to Gubeng railway station to catch the Mutiara Timur train to Denpasar. Brilliant location, with a 100m walk to the station to buy tickets at 6am, then a leisurely buffet breakfast to catch the 9am train->ferry->bus to Bali.

Secondly, the attention to detail was impressive, with the staff ensuring that everything was taken care of. Additionally, the hotel's central location just beside the train station made it convenient for exploring the city. Lastly, the rooms had a nice touch of traditional Javanese style in their design, particularly in the shower area. Oh, and the breakfast spread was delicious!
